Mediums Communicating With Spirit In Other Languages
Updated 2021.12.09
Can mediums talk to deceased loved ones in a foreign language?
Some of my ancestors do not speak English as their first language.
It's safe to say that at least on my father's side, most deceased persons who would try to come through to a medium in the United States will speak another birth tongue.
This goes for a lot of my clients and for a lot of psychic mediums who have a strong international or immigrant-descendant client base.
From Serbo-Croatian to Romanian, to High German, many of my relatives in Spirit are a dynamic and fun bunch of Eastern Europeans.
With that said, they have never had a problem communicating in a mediumship reading with English-speaking psychic mediums.
I have usually been able to share with quite a liberal amount of ease, messages for my clients for their family members who speak other languages, too.
The language of Spirit transcends words.
Other Ways Spirit Communicate Besides Language
How Spirits Who Speak Other Languages Communicate
There are some mediums out there who believe that mediumship is really a form of speaking in tongues, which in the Bible is a spiritual gift the Vatican approves of.
They always find a way to get their messages across.
The language barrier has never been a problem for them, and it's never a problem for any Spirit, who has since left their physical body.
Language is the way we express ourselves externally through our voice boxes.
But language, a form of verbal communication, is not the only form of communication.
While verbal communication is the primary form of communication for humans on Earth, this is not so for those in Spirit.
Once a person loses their voice box, they are no longer tasked with having to limit their communication methods to spoken word.
Receiving clairaudient messages, getting Spirit's message through words, is only one way to communicate.
Those in Spirit can transfer their message to you in multiple ways.
They can communicate through pictures and emotions.
Your deceased loved ones in Spirit communicate to you and to your medium in four ways
Showing you mental images (clairvoyance)
Transferring their own feelings so you feel them (clairsentience)
Sending their original, pre-verbalized, thoughts (claircognizance)
Providing them with their own words to say (clairaudience)
The last one (#4) is the one where the medium would rely on language, so, as you can see, there are at least three other ways a Spirit can share a message. To learn more about these methods check out these articles:
If your deceased loved one spoke a foreign tongue while alive, it is highly likely that they will be communicating using the first three modalities.
And that's okay - you won't be missing out on anything if this is the case.
Most mediums only need one clear Clair-ability to do their job.
Most mediums have developed a variety of their clair-senses through which they can receive messages, to accommodate the vastly different communication styles of all of the different people they connect to.
So this is more than enough avenues for Spirit to deliver their messages to you.
And if my family members can find workarounds to get through to English-speaking mediums only, so can yours.
