When A Medium Has Trouble Identifying Spirit In A Reading
Updated 2021.12.28
What happens when a medium stumbles over spirit identification and evidence -it's Pictionary. In this post we discuss -
Without a physical body, the deceased can choose how they look and appear to certain people.
Sometimes the deceased will come to readings and appear 10-15 years younger than they were when they passed. They might appear taller, leaner, or with fuller hair and curves than when they were actually living.
In some cases, the deceased will show up in a session, looking very distinctly from a period of their life that they really enjoyed. They can choose to portray themselves with the personality they only *wish* they had when they were alive.
The deceased can choose how to appear:
To portray themselves how you will best remember them
Or to portray themselves the way they think they'll be remembered
Identifying a Spirit by appearance only in a session can be either very easy (when your loved ones go with option 1) or very hard (when they choose option 2).
Your loved ones can choose the most ideal version of themselves, including both appearance AND personality.
Wouldn't it be great if we got to choose how people remembered us?
The deceased will usually appear as their version of self they identified with most while living. Suppose a person they are sitting with doesn't remember. In that case, they will appear how they are most likely to be remembered or how they looked closer towards their transition or earlier in life.
They will usually come through the way you will remember them. Sometimes, they will blend their energy with another relative, meaning they appear to share the traits of more than one energy in your Support Team.
This can sometimes cause an issue for a primarily clairvoyant medium. Still, it is often worked around with clairsentient energy, describing a loved one's essence, or with clairaudient messages.
A medium will usually use more than one way to identify a Spirit energy, and often within the first fifteen minutes of any session, but occasionally, sitting for the message they deliver identifies the Spirit later in the reading.
