Growing your spiritual business in the internet age is both possible and fun.
This article was written back in 2016, and since then, there have been lots of positive changes in my own business, so four years later, I wanted to update this piece with new links and resources.
Building a spiritual business can be a journey, but starting and sustaining a spiritual business, both online and in-person, is doable.
I've done it, and I've continued to stay active and find ways to enjoy my work.
As a professional intuitive, there's so much information out there to absorb.
And so far, I've gone from working out of a free basement with bats that would come out at dusk and doing readings in spare restrooms, to being able to maintain payroll, take well-planned business trips, and hire folks.
These early days of my business I sometimes purposely go back to, and I value them because they were fun, creative, and you do learn to laugh.
You find your biggest strengths when you are bootstrapping, and in general, you'll likely still keep some of these successful habits as you grow.
For example, I still find myself working out of the corner of my bedroom, though I do have an office because, on some days, it's what works.
And even though I can afford groceries nowadays when I'm not investing back into my business, I still eat canned sardines for the Omega-3s, because I’ve grown to like them - they are sweet portable high-protein snacks.
So no matter how you grow, know that some of the earlier times that helped you have success will still hold the wisdom for the things that work the next time you're in the moment of a crunch, the bottleneck before the expansion.

Choose today to grow your business by exploring just one of the tips in any of these pieces. If you are expanding revenue, I suggest focusing on one revenue area at a time, and then adding the next section and then the next.
Most importantly, follow your heart and your intuition.
Outside of these resources, I've also found it so helpful to go to local conferences in your niche, which can be affordable, and you can gain invaluable tips and connections.
It’s the brain of the intuitive system, and along with the heart, so for me, when I am feeling heart-driven, and my brain feels sharp, that's when I know I'm headed in the right direction.
