What Does It Feel Like To Run Into A Spirit?
Updated 2022.06.26
Spirits are all around us. Walking the streets, shopping in malls, going in and out of houses, hanging out at train stations, in coffee shops, in bars, at the supermarket, at the park, crossing the nearest intersection. Literally, everywhere.
There are Angels, Spirit Guides, Deceased Loved Ones and even Fairies among us every single day in every single place we frequent.
There are even Ghosts, hanging about, lingering on Earth, trying to still interact as a human in a physical body, for one reason or another everywhere.
The Physical World and The Spirit World exist side-by-side, right next to each other, so close in fact, that you can interact with Spirit every day, with little to no trouble - if you wanted to and learned how.
We share space with Spirit in the same way that we share space with the trees, with the ants and with the mice.
Do you notice every mouse, ant or tree that you pass by or cross paths with?
Notice how they affect your life, change your reality, or make essential, beneficial changes to your ecosystem, which improve your existence?
It’s easy to begin to notice these individuals that you cross paths with every day if you look for them. Same with The Spirit World and those in it.
How do you become more aware of Spirit?
Step 1. Pay Attention To Other People
All Humans are Spirit in body. By paying attention to the energy, emotions and interactions in your environment. Every day, you interact with, pass by and notice Spirits in human bodies every day. Start paying attention to what’s going on with them.
Be observational. Who is fighting with who? Who dislikes who? Who’s upset about something? Who looks tired? Who looks like they wish they weren’t even here right now?
When you notice, observe and witness the emotions, energy and subtle cues of others first, starting with Spirits in human bodies (people), it becomes a transferable skill when you begin to notice Spirit without bodies.
Step 2. Pay Attention To Yourself As A Person
Get to know your own energy baselines. Next, start to notice how YOU feel in any situation. Notice any changes that you feel, experience and witness throughout the day.
When do you suddenly feel cold? When do you suddenly feel hot? When do you feel a pressure on your chest? Or like a fog?
The emotions, feelings, thoughts and energy of others can and does affect you. When someone is emoting, it has no boundaries, really, it’s like an off-gassing of feelings and energy.
And if someone is venting, blowing steam or boiling beneath their skin near you - or hiding their feelings, harboring an deep seated issue - it can start to seep out into the surrounding space.
Energy, and the energy of emotion or the energy of Spirit, operates like a gas.
It can vent off and go anywhere and if you are near it, you can feel it.
The more you begin to notice sudden changes you experience in yourself, the more you will notice how the energy, emotions, thoughts and feels can wear off on you. This sensing energy skill learned through reading your own vibe, is a transferable skill when you begin to notice Spirit in The Spirit World.
Notice changes in your physical world human environment and how they translate to your self environment.
Go out each day and simply tell yourself, I’m going to be aware of changes today. I’m going to be an observational scientist of my own space this afternoon.
Step 3. Start to translate these skills to The Spirit World
The Spirits that are hanging out in your person space have generally once been people or are used to interacting as and with people. These are Loved Ones, Spirit Guides, Angels, Fairies or Ghosts.
You can easily translate your observational skills of human-people (Spirits with bodies) in your environment and translate them to sensing Spirit when you bump into one.
Today we’re going to talk about the Spirit interaction of bumping into one, walking through one or passing by one at close distance.
While there are certainly other, physical world explanations for changes in bodily sensations, there are also Spiritual explanations that can apply once everything else has been ruled out.
After all of the circumstances have been considered, these are the three most common signs a Spirit has bumped into, walked through or otherwise connected through and with your body -
What It Feels Like When You Run Into A Spirit
The 3 types of physical changes in your body when you bump into a Spirit
1 - Energy In Your Heart Or Head
Pressure changes in any form, is a sign of a shift in energy inputs or outputs in a given container or space. When you sense a Spirit in a room, it can often feel heavier or lighter - depending on what, who or how someone in Spirit is with you.
When a Spirit passes through you, often, you and this Spirit connect with the same places that all Spirits, all Souls connect - in the mind or in the heart.
While living, human Spirits and all individuals really, connect with each other emotionally and mentally. Genuine connection is here. And when someone, in Spirit, genuinely wants to connect with you, they do so, by linking in.
Thus, when you run through or into a Spirit - the energy shift of pressure is felt in your emotional center - your heart - or your mental center - your head. This can feel pressure in the heart, and when in your head, a sudden feeling of lightheadedness or spaciness.
2 - All Over Body Tingles
Things or energy moving in your environment is a predictable sign that someone else that’s not you is in your space.
Most notably, a ‘gust’ of movement (Spirit) passing through you, can be felt on the outside of your skin as a tingle, tickle or a goosebump, but inside your body, running all through your cells.
When a Spirit passes through your body, it’s these tiny hairs that pick up and alert you of the energy energy in your space.
3 - Sudden Thermal Shift
Temperature change, internally and externally, is another sign of energy (heat) being added to or removed from a Space.
When a Spirit is leaving a space or drawing on your energy to be in the present area, it’s generally a chill that’s felt (heating drawing away).
Where when Spirit is joining with you or adding energy to your space, such as Divine Light, it’s generally a warmth or flush of heat that’s felt (heating coming in).
This is the less obvious and also the less frequent method of the three, as this sign is usually more commonly felt when a Spirit is in a room, rather than walking through your body.
To begin to notice what’s going on with Spirits in your environment, it’s as easy to beginning to notice what’s going on with the Human Spirits (people) in your environment first, and taking an inventory of how their thoughts, feelings and actions transfer to you.
Practicing sensing Spirit
Take time to notice these three signs of Spirit energy passing through or connecting with you - energy rush in the upper chakras, all over body tingles, and change in temperature.
Practice noticing this for anywhere between 1-3 months in your meditations or see if you can pick up on different energies in known spiritual hot spots such as those in this blog on spiritual travel.
